Skip Nault: The parking lot in front of Grosjean Park was full of cars that carried more than a dozen fishermen to fish Apple Creek. There was plenty of room for everyone to fish the stream on this beautiful sunny day. |

Skip Nault: Randy Rowe and I fished the Astabula, River on 2/17/09. The first several hours of fishing was hindered by shelf ice and slush ice seen in this picture. Most of it burned off by 1 PM. |

Skip Nault: Randy Rowe stands next to a wall of ice, 5 feet tall and many feet thick. The wall was created by chunks of ice that broke up from the river and floated into place by high water from recent flooding. The wall is many hundreds of feet long and straight as an arrow. |
