Speaker: Peter Quent, field operations by EnviroScience

Subject: Stream Restoration – Bringing the Stream Back into Balance

Peter Quent is a recent member of our CFRTU group who oversees construction and field operations for stream restoration projects conducted by EnviroScience, a design firm that works in environmental restoration. Their primary focus is restoring trout streams, using a team composed of biologists, engineers, botanists, and construction staff. Peter has lived in this area most of his life and grew up fishing Apple Creek. He was involved with competitive bass fishing as a young adult, spending lots of time around the Great Lakes and mid Atlantic states. In addition to his professional work, Peter began guiding several years ago, focusing on smallmouth, walleye, and lake trout.
