Speaker: Andrew Jerrett, Superintendent ODNR/DOW Castalia Fish Hatcheries
Subject: Rainbow, Brown and Steelhead trout production in Ohio Hatcheries.
Andy will explain details of the fish production system in Ohio to support statewide trout and steelhead fishing programs. Focus will be on rainbow steelhead raised at the Castalia hatchery. He has been at Castalia over 25 years and has been the hatchery manager about half of that time. He will share the planning and changes that have taken place in trout production through the years and answer questions about future programs goals.
