Comments: Caught-my first ever palomino. Used a white crystal bugger and got several other hits, even had one break me off. Overall, fun day on the water, great day to be outside.
Note from the Webmaster to those fishing Apple Creek. The palomino is a genetic variant of the rainbow trout. The mutant was first discovered in a West Virginia hatchery and has been bred and now is now raised in a number of hatcheries across the country, including Little Pickerel Creek Farm in Castalia where we purchase the trout we stock in Apple Creek.
