Comments: Late afternoon, very warm and overcast. Clear water. Tried a variety of nymphs and flies; missed 2 strikes at nymphs, caught 3 chubs. Saw 2 other fly fishermen, one said he only caught 1, a 20” rainbow on a streamer. Saw a young lad catch and release a rainbow using a spinning rod and corn; also a mother with 2 very small children cooling off in the water.
