I arrived at 11am after a meeting and spent an hour on the stream. Water was still up and a bit cloudy with visibility about 18 inches. I swung minnow patterns through 4 likely holes, lies and rolled 2 trout, one I missed the take when I pulled fly out early. Trout seemed to like fly motion today but after I missed a fish, he would not respond again and had to keep moving. Beautiful time on stream even without landing a fish.
