Comments: Being that we finally broke our stretch of 90 + degree days I decided to make the 2 hour trip to fish Apple Creek. Got to the creek around 7:30, start fishing a dry dropper, then eventually started indicator nymphing a san juan along with a hares ear. I fished about 2 hours and waded all the way to the Pittsburgh ave bridge. Eventually on my way back down stream i came across 2 bows, made a few casts but unfortunately they wanted nothing to do with my offering. I went back to the car around 11 and rested up and this time fished down stream all the way to the spruce street bridge, I came across multiple bows holding in deep holes, none of them wanted to eat. Throughout the day I seen about 7 bows in total, regardless of me not catching any I was still really thankful to at least see them. If anyone has an tips or suggestions on fishing Apple Creek, please email me at brianurias6@gmail.com. This really is a beautiful fishery with tons of potential, I look forward to fishing it again, becoming familiar with the water, and being a steward of the river just like you all! Tight Lines!!!
