Water was very clear. Did not see any fish above the parking area log jams. Fish were not actively feeding and were mostly chasing each other. I did manage to get three actual takes and one that I think was an aggravated swipe from two fighting males. It rained on and off and fish only seemed to bite when the sun came out around noon. There was a small cream midge hatch around noon and a larger black midge hatch around 2pm. All fish caught on small red midge imitations in size 18 below a size 16 EHC. No interest shown in caddis. Fish size and quality seem very good and all were strong fighters.
