Comments: I got out after work for the last hour of daylight. Stream is low and clear and air was low 40s.
Saw another fly fisher as he was leaving. The fish were spooky. They didn't want any cast from above or the side of them even though I was crouched 15' off the streamside. I caught one on a Mating Midge pattern in black dry. I tie 2 flies on a size 14 hook so I can see it. I also caught 2nd on size 18 or 20 Klinkhammer in gray. My tan Klinkhammer didn't work. Both fish I had to cast from 30 feet below and lay the dry on the water. I had a handful of fish come up to look and dart away at first. I tried a couple droppers off the midge. First a olive scud size 16 then a size 16 red zebra midge. Fish didn't want the droppers. Thank you to CFRTU for stocking again. That creek is amazing.
Denver, I tried to look you up on YouTube without success. You can reach me on OhioGameFishing.com or walleye.com. I go by Rickerd on both sites.
