I fished from 8:30 until noon. The water was gin clear, a bit low but a nice flow. Spoke with two other fly anglers. Trout were visible in deep runs and holes and very wary! We need more rain. Caught one trout on a green mop fly.

We stock Apple Creek again this Saturday, November 6, from 10 a.m. until noon and we can use some help. We need another dozen volunteers. Show up at the Grosjean Park kiosk a little before 10. This stocking plus the first stocking from last month should provide plenty of trout to catch & release until April or May of next year.
