Water conditions were low and gin clear. This was my first time fishing Apple. Got to the stream early, about 7:15, and I was the third car in the parking lot. I choose to walk down river. Finally found two nice fish at the very end of the property (just up from the bridges). One was a really nice 19 inch rainbow the other was a 13 inches (thank you fish pond net) rainbow. I then worked up river (a lot more anglers on my way back up river). Found one additional rainbow, 16 inches, near a deep hole and root ball. Didn’t look like much but first drift produced a health rainbow. In total, I landed 3 rainbows over 3 hours. On the water from 7:30 - 10:30. Leaving there were 8 cars in the parking lot. Everyone was super friendly. All agreed, we need rain.
