A beautiful afternoon to be on Apple Creek. A bright sunny day and not a cloud to be seen. Water temp was 54F and gin clear. Caught most of my fish (18 hook-ups, 13 landed) in deep, shaded pools. My best fly by far was a #16 rainbow warrior. Fish were fat and put up a good fight on my 10'6" 3-wt nymphing rod. Saw another half dozen fly anglers and a similar number of spin fishers. Everyone was practicing catch & release. Thanks everyone!
