I fished from about 1:30 until dark (5:00ish). Water was low and gin-clear. Air temps were in the mid to high 50s. I didn't take a measurement of the water temps though.

I caught all of mine on sz 16 pink copper johns. The fish were extremely picky today. I think I only caught the ones I did because of their frustration or curiosity, not because they actually wanted them. Oddly enough they didn't seem spooked. They just weren't interested in what I was giving them!

I did hook into (and lost) 4 or 5 other trout using a sz 20 zebra midge, but I lost my only fly to a tree branch before I could net any fish with it. Oh well!

I saw 5 other fly anglers on the stream today. One other angler had a better day than me (I believe he said he caught 7 or so fishing a dry dropper rig).
