Comments: It was a cool, sunny day. Air temperature was around 34 degrees and water temperature was 39 degrees. I fished from midday through the afternoon. There were trout stacked in at least 3 different pools that I saw. My only catch of the day was on a size 16 pink Copper John. The fish were very tight-lipped and spooked today.
When I first arrived I saw another fisherman hauling a plastic container with about 3 or 4 trout to his car. I understand not practicing catch and release late in the Spring/early Summer, but why wouldn't you release your catch in the Winter for others to enjoy? Oh well...
