Comments: Fished the upper Clear Fork from 9:30 until 2:30. It was really cold at the start, 32F but warmed up to 46F. The water was gin clear and a good flow.
Not much of a bite early on, but after noon, the bite was on. Most fish (5) were last falls stockers but the last fish was a pretty 16-incher that jumped and then put up a good fight on my 5-wt. All but one fish was caught on my #12 Aurora nymph. Best fly over the past 2 years on the Clear Fork. No one else was fishing the stretches we fished.
