Comments: We fished both the lower and upper Clear Fork in that order. It was cloudy and cool in the first 2.5 hours in the morning on the lower, with a good flow of 50F water and 2-ft visibility. The rainbows were jumpers with the biggest a fat 15-incher. That one took a pink Eggstasy, the other two a #12 prince nymph.
We fished the upper in the early afternoon for one hour in the sun and warming temps. Water flow was ca. 100 cfs. The fish ranged in size from a couple 7-8 inch stockers from last fall to a 16-inch hog (see picture in gallery). All 7 browns were caught on #12 Aurora nymph (see gallery for how to tie this pattern). Nice day to escape the confines of Covid-19.
