Comments: Had a great day! Fished the upper Clear Fork from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. with my buddy Randy. Water was 46F, with a good flow at 100cfs and very clear. The weather was cloudy and temps in the high 40's. I landed 10 of the 11 browns I hooked up. Most browns were 8-11 inches but I landed two hogs, a 16-incher and a 19-incher that likely weighed 3-pounds. The one I lost was in that size range. My best nymph patterns were the Aurora and the prince in size #12 with tung bead heads. Only saw two other fly anglers. Go to photo gallery for pictures of the big boys!
