Brown Trout Caught: 3
Comments: Fished both the Upper and Lower sections of the river. The lower section had quite a bit of fishing pressure and the water had roughly 2 ft of visibility. Many individuals were spin fishing from the banks, however, none seemed to be catching anything. I did observe some larger rainbows on gravel beds down stream of the covered bridge, but could not get them to take nymphs or swung soft hackle. It seemed like Baetis were hatching at times, but observed no trout reacting. The upper section of the stream, despite the limited visibility (6-8in) was much more productive. Three 10 inch browns were caught on swung Guide's Choice soft hackle in size 16.
