Comments: Fished the upper section in two spots above Butler and walked quite a bit of stream. All the trout were caught in faster shallower riffles. Found no trout in the deeper holes or along structure. I did catch a Sunfish and White Bass on a tan sparkle pupa. Three trout were caught on a black wooly bugger size 12 and 1 was caught on an olive bead head caddis nymph. Saw a sporadic Light Cahill hatch size 12 throughout the day. This morning during and after the rain lots of top water action but I had no luck casting dry midges, Cahill spinners size 16 or Cahill size 12 dries to match the hatch. Super fun day and my first time visiting!
