Date: 05-29-2020
Angler Name: Andy
Angler Age: 34
Angler Home: Norton, OH
Fishing Tackle: Fly Fishing
Fish Caught: Brown Trout
Brown Trout Caught: 16
Comments: Fished between 530am - 1100am before the temperature rose and the thunderstorm struck. Visibility was a approximately 18-20 inches with heavy overcast skies. Nymphed using a European style and am still shocked at how outstanding this fishery is, and how it is kept secret to the vast majority of midwest anglers (Good Job!!). Multiple fish (all browns) in the 11-16 in range. First fish of the day was 21 inches and sitting over a spring was a 27 inch brown that fought for over ten minutes (this is a fish that would be massive on a tailwater)!!! ENJOY AND PROTECT THIS FISHERY !!!
