Fished with Steve Slack this morning. Beauty of a day. Air temps in 60's and water temp 62F with 2-ft visibility. Fished two stretches of water, mostly nymphing. All 4 browns I caught were taken on an Aurora nymph, the largest a 12-incher (see gallery). Most of the 15-20 creek chubs I took on a trailing sparrow nymph pattern. Only saw one other angler.
It is going to be hot the rest of the week and the fishing won't be easy. If you land a fish, be certain to carefully revive when releasing.
