Un believable was bass fishing the lower clear fork and explored a bit. I found a feeder creek that was I’m pretty sure spring fed. Was considerably colder than the river. I kept getting bites on my bass lure but couldn’t hook up. Thought they must be little bass. I threw a trout slayer on, (a tiny 1/64 oz jig head and a tiny rubber craw body and boom hooked a 12” brown then boom hooked another 12” brown then started feeling guilty because I didn’t check water temp but had good releases on the first ones so took one more cast and whammm a 10” rainbow. That unfortunately didn’t make it and I quit. I’m pretty sure the browns were wild and the Bo possibly from stockers but it was totally unexpected and very fun.
