Comments: My son and I fished the upper Clear Fork on Friday (for the first time) between the hours of 12 noon & 4pm. Water temp was around 48-49 degrees which made the legs ache after a few hours of wading. We had a great day, catching a lot of 8-10 inch fish and 4 or 5 that were 12-13 inches. All catch and release. We probably missed more fish that we caught. My son started out using a hopper / dropper with a Hare's Ear nymph. His first two fish were on the hopper, then the remainder were on the nymph. I started out with a BWO with no success. Changed to a Lively Legz Copper John (livelylegz.com) with strike indicator and caught nine fish. We caught nine browns each on 3 wt. tackle which was a lot of fun.
