Comments: Two of us made the trip up to the lower CF. Caught four in roughly three hours on inline spinners and a small jerkbait. Decent water level, fairly clear. Overcast mostly. Not enough action to justify getting the fly gear out of the car.
Be on the lookout: A fellow showed up around two o’clock and fished at my six, about three feet in back of me. Never had that happen before. I was about five feet into the river and he fished directly in back of me. Someone needs to educate this guy before he gets hurt. Description: Somewhat tall, heavy-set, possibly bald or thinning, maybe in his 30’s-50’s. Wore bright yellow rain slick pants instead of traditional waders. Spin fished with a float.
