Comments: Fished the lower Clear Fork from before 8 a.m. until 11. Water was 44F, a good flow with 2 ft. visibility. Fished many holes and runs that were very productive in the past with egg and worm patterns that usually produce. Caught both trout in heavy riffles. Spoke with other fly angles that caught none or only one or two trout. Not certain why the fishing was as good as in the past; perhaps not nearly as many fish stocked as in years past.
