Comments: Between the two of us, we landed 9 rainbows and lost another 8 after hookups in the lower river. All fish taken on pink egg patterns, including the new Eggstasy pattern. Water temperature at noon was 41F, air temp 37F with sunshine. Water with a nice flow and 2-3 feet of visibility. Despite the cold water, virtually all fish that were hooked jumped out of the water several times. Cold fingers made tying on flies a challenge. We saw another 4-5 fly fishers on the stream.
