Fished the lovely upper Clear Fork on the morning of 12/28. Flows were slightly high, but the water was still fairly clear and wadeable. I caught one beautiful brown trout that was about 10 inches long on a pheasant tail nymph. He was, of course, handled with the utmost care, and quickly released. I wanted to stay much longer, but I was only able to enjoy it for about an hour until my rod unfortunately broke, bringing my fishing to an end. 🙁 All in all, I absolutely loved the Clear Fork, and plan to be back as soon as possible.
