A friend and I went out on the Conneaut river in Ohiothis past Saturday. Although the water was a tad cold, we had some luck fishing sucker spawns and trout beads on a dropper rig.

The flow was perfect at about 250 cfs. 2 of our 3 fish caught were out of deeper pools with fallen foliage around it. Our guide claimed if the flow stays the same the warmer weather this coming weekend will have the fish a lot more active.
