Two of us fished an Eastern Ohio tributary. The water level was quite low with 3-ft visibility, but we still could not see the fish we hooked up with. Best flies were sucker spawn and then the white death streamer dead drifted. Many of the fish were dime bright and new arrivals to the river. Suckers have also showed up. We landed at best only half of our steelhead hookups. Only 2 other fly fisherman on the stretches we fished.
