I started up at Old river farm on the Chagrin. The water was low and very clear. Still plenty of water for fish to run though. I did not see any fish and did not have any takes. Talked with one other fly fisherman up there and he also had not seen any or had any takes. Moved down stream spot hopping and did not see fish until Todd Field. I tried a few different patterns but no takers. It was 80 and midday by then so the weather was not on my side. A little inclimate weather namely rain and things should start to improve.
