We had an extraordinary day on an east Ohio tributary. We had 26 hookups and landed and released 22. The water was on the low side and 36F with 2 ft visibility. Air temps were ca. 40F and sunny. All fish were taken nymphing with a white death or a pink and then later a chartreuse sucker spawn. Some spots with open water frozen over. No other fishermen spotted. Fish had pretty color and were between 2.5 and 5.5 pounds. No jumpers with the water as cold as it was.
